Know when to keep quiet. Listen impartially to others' ideas and thoughts. Once an idea is put into motion, there are many ways to reach the final result.
Delegate members who are closest to the issue at hand to implement decisions regarding the isue. Give those involved in the situation flexibility to act the way they think is most beneficial. If it does not work out for the best, then you can step in.
By allowing members to act on issues, you give them respect rather than degrading them for making mistakes or for doing things differently than you would do. It is also important to give credit where it is deserved. Rememeber what you head and from who and to share new ideas and thoughts of others.
